The House Chiefs of Staff Alumni Association (HCOSAA)
Why Join HCOSAA?
For almost four decades, the House Chiefs of Staff Alumni Association has provided great opportunities to stay in touch with former Hill colleagues, meet others who have served as chiefs of staff and get to know current House chiefs.
As an organization whose membership comprises former House chiefs of staff, it is HCOSAA’s mission to provide programming by hosting bipartisan events for our members to interact and exchange ideas. HCOSAA provides a wide range of offerings for former chiefs and their current counterparts. The holiday celebration honoring current chiefs is always popular with former and current chiefs alike. In addition, HCOSAA offers speaker lunches, embassy receptions and cultural and educational offerings.
Events this past year alone included speaker lunches with political analysts Charlie Cook and Nathan Gonzalez, an embassy reception, and tours of Historic Congressional Cemetery and the National Gallery of Art, as well as the holiday celebration.
HCOSAA was founded in 1988 by former chiefs who recognized the value and importance of continuing their connection with those with whom they served, as well as participating in events with and getting to know current House chiefs.
The annual dues are only $50, which entitles you to attend events throughout the year hosted by HCOSAA. You can sign up through the HCOSAA website (www.hcosaa.org) by clicking on the membership tab. Payment can be made either electronically or by check.
If you have any questions about membership or have suggestions for programs, please contact any HCOSAA board member.
